PADI Rescue Diver Gives Care, Control & Confidence

The PADI Rescue Diver Course introduces you through caring for divers with control and confidence. The program is designed to focus your attention on how to assist other divers and how to prevent and handle diving emergencies.During this three day course we will provide you with detailed academic presentations and in depth training of Rescue Diving Techniques.

What is covered within the Rescue Diver Course?

During the PADI Rescue Diver course you will cover the following theory topics and water skills Academic# Self rescue and diver stress# Diving first Aid# Emergency management# Equipment considerationsWater skills# Swimming & non swimming assists# Panicked-diver responses# Underwater problems# Missing diver procedures# Surfacing the unconscious diver# In water artificial respiration# Equipment removal during artificial respiration# Egress and first aid for diving accidentsPrerequisitesYou Must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.(equivalent=certification beyond entry level with at least 20 logged dives showing experience in night, deep and navigation) .Before the start of the course you must have completed a sanctioned course in CPR within the last 24 months (PADI Emergency First Response will meet this requirement).Minimum age: 12 years
